Narrow Leaved Popcorn Flower

Natural History

The Narrow Leaved Popcorn Flower is a member of the Forget-me-not or Borge Family. It grows to about 10 inches in height and has grayish, hairy, narrow leaves to 1.5 inches in length. The plant typically grows in dry sandy soil in western and southern Arizona at elevations below 4000 feet.
 

Red Columbine is also known as Barrel Columbine.

Narrow Leaved Popcorn Flower typically blooms between February - June and produces small white flowers with to 1/8 inch in width that grow in a cluster.
